Oh mah gawsh.  One of my favourite people ever. My style icon in my eyes. If anybody knows me very well, they all know I am a huge fan of Ms. Solange Knowles.  She featuring in Complex magazine for the June/July issue.  The colours, Diana Ross hairdo, make-up is just simply fabulous. Clearly showcasing her bikini bod, mama of 1, the singer/DJ/actress/fashionista is clearly kicking some major ass on tour for her True EP  (which I will attend!!!). Rihanna for River Island Summer 2013

Sometimes I ask myself why I am here in Canada, when clearly the fashion happenings are all in the UK!  Rihanna basically made this collection for women of any shape and size (yeah some of pieces…not so much). “I made a piece for everybody in my crew; we all have different body types and different tastes, and some are braver than others. I think like that because that’s how women in the world are. We’re all different, we like different things, we have different occasions and different moods.“

A new leaf.

I’ve been doing the same routine here.  Waking up, cleaning house, shower, eat, maybe go to work (if hours permit), cook dinner, watch tv and go to sleep.  Its kinda getting boring.  I just feel like I need a desperate change or a new leaf in my life.  So, I’ve been looking at some street style snaps and had an aha! moment.  I decided I will be changing my style/look.  I dress kinda old for my age.  22 is a perfect age of just simply having a blast with friends, go out to clubs/bars, live home with the ‘rents, yada yada yada (Go to thoughtcatalog.com for a really good read!)  My problem is that I am an eclectic girl who loves all things. Here are some street style snaps I spotted that is giving me some MAYJAH INSPIRATION.

This is one of my favourite films ever! And I absoltely love it’s style, I would rock anyone of these looks today without for sure. I easpecially love the shorts suit. Will have to get me one asap.

This girl is serious. Ms. Delevingne just nabbed Vogue China!  Rocking in Spring/Summer Burberry Posum, Cara is clearly dominating and in high demand of many editorials, campaign ads, and many more.  Watch out dear models.  Let the games commence.

Girl On A Mission.

Zoe Saldana is soaring from her filming high of Star Trek into Darkness, promoting the movie this past week and now crash landing to InStyle UK June 2013.  She is so gorgeous.  Muy caliente!  The colours, the jewelry, the clothes; just the overall simplicity of the shoot makes her look so effortless.

Check out what 34-year-old (WHAT?!)  Star Trek Into Darkness star had to share with the mag:

On finding love again: “I believe in love because I had it for so long, so I know it’s possible. I’m not one of these people who’s going, ‘Oh, because I was with someone for so long I need to take a break.’ What if love is just around the corner?”

On who she’d like to date next: “A bad*ss renegade! A pirate! A pirate who can cry. Oh my god!”

On aging in Hollywood: “I’ve been told by producers, ‘Well, you know we need to get on this because you’re not getting any younger…’ Women are reminded of their age all the time. The Emancipation of Miley.

Move over Disney.  Miley has definitely completely shed that fake Hannah Montana of a train wreck mess!  This is probably my favourite shoot she has done.  Yes, she shows some skin (more like ass) and side boobage, but with good reason, Miley is kicking some major arse.  With her album that everyone is buzzing about, Miley is definitely proving she is not that girl she used to be anymore.
